Psoriasis M-Folia Testimonial Linda Thelin

following letter was received from Linda Thelin seen below with her husband and baby

Linda Thelin with her husband & baby'I have had psoriasis on my elbows, knees and scalp in varying degrees of severity since about 1975. In general this did not cause me any great discomfort or embarrassment and after my teenage years I only needed treatment for it on a couple of occasions.

However, in March 1998 following the birth of my second child, I began to suffer from a spotty red, itchy rash on my chest and back. I was surprised to learn from my doctor that this was, in fact, another form of psoriasis i.e. guttate. This rash very quickly spread all over my chest and back forming thick areas that were inflamed and dry. As the psoriasis started to cover my scalp, arms and legs I gained very little relief from the usual prescription creams and lotions and I was in constant pain and I became very self conscious of my appearance, although I was fortunate that I did not have any on my face.

In the summer of 1998 I went to see a consultant in Harley Street, whom I found to be unsympathetic and unable to offer any real help. His main advice was for me to get my husband to take me to the Red Sea for several months! Not really practical with a seven month old baby and a child under five!!

I persevered with the prescribed creams, bath oils etc. although they were smelly, greasy and impractical ( on of them could not be put on healthy skin and therefore I had to spend ages dabbing it on!)

It was then that I spotted an item in glossy women’s magazine about Taylor Jackson’s Mahonia Aquifolia products and sent off for some ointment. The results were rapid. I noticed improvement in the inflammation and dryness of the skin after only a week or so and three months later my psoriasis had cleared by about 95%.

I had no further problems for over a year but at Easter this year I developed a very sore throat that lasted several days. I remembered, too late, that a sore throat is often a precursor in guttate psoriasis and that I should have got antibiotics. Within days the familiar rash appeared on my chest and a fortnight later my psoriasis had taken hold again. This time I didn’t delay, I got some Mahonia ointment straight away and decided to try the bath oil, scalp oil and shampoo. The company’s claims were substantiated again. I found the products easy to use and a pleasant small. I was pleased to have almost complete recovery by the end of July with only minor areas requiring further treatment.

I was also pleased to be able to tap into the on-line information and get sufficient material with which to convince the GP and the local Health Authority to give me the products on prescription.

Although I hope that I will manage to stay clear of such extensive psoriasis from now on I can honestly say that I now no longer fear another attack because I know I will be able to manage it rapidly with Mahonia Aquifolia.'
